The purpose of this Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Request for Applications (RFA) is to secure the services of eligible community-based organizations, direct service providers, occupational health and safety clinics, and other not-for profit organizations that can assist the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) to provide education and training about occupational health and safety hazards.
All awards are subject to funding availability. Applications/proposals will be accepted on an ongoing basis until no later than 4:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time on December 29, 2017. In addition to Grants Gateway registration, all non- governmental Not for Profit (NFP) applicants must be Prequalified at the time and date that the application was submitted. If you are not Prequalified at the time and date your application was submitted your application will not be considered. In keeping with this requirement, NYSDOL shall not consider for funding any application from a non-governmental NFP which has a status other than one of the following at the time and date that the application is submitted: o Document Vault Prequalified; o Document Vault Prequalified Open; o Document Vault Prequalified/In review; or o Document Vault Open for PQS Edits
