The Office of Mental Health announces this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the operation of a 30 bed Scattered-Site Supportive Housing Program located in Queens that is currently operated by a not-for-profit agency. All 30 beds target adults with serious mental illness who are eligible under the NY/ NY III Agreement for Population A (Chronically homeless single adults with a serious mental illness or who have a co-occurring serious mental illness and substance use disorder). This Scattered-Site Supportive Housing Program has been operational for many years and the units are currently tenanted; any future vacancies must be sited in Queens for NY/ NY III Population A referrals. Referrals for the NY/ NY III units will be determined eligible by the Human Resources Administration (HRA) and referrals will be generated by the Department of Homeless Services. Referrals with an Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) order must receive priority consideration for any housing vacancy.
