OMH announces this RFP for the development and operation of up to 36 Apartment Treatment Program (TAP) housing units in the NYC region. The target populations include: individuals w/SNI being discharged from State-operated PCs or residential programs; individuals with SMI being discharged from Article 28 or 31 hospitals and in need for Apartment Treatment or for whom housing would assist in diversion from State PC; individuals with SMI residing in NYC who have SMI and are high users of Medicaid and referred from Health Homes; individuals with SMI who are current residents of an OMH licensed CR or CR-SRO - prioritizing those with LOS longer than 2 years; or, individuals 18 YoA or older being discharged from a Residential Treatment facility.
Five awards will be made as follows:
- Group 1: 5 units designated for Bronx PC catchment area & developed in Bronx
- Group 2: 5 units designated for Kingsboro PC catchment area & developed in Brooklyn
- Group 3: 7 units designated for Manhattan PC catchment area & developed in Manhattan or surrounding borough
- Group 4: 11 units designated for Creedmoor PC catchment area & developed in Queens
- Group 5: 8 units designated for South Beach PC catchment area & developed in Brooklyn or Staten Island
