PLEASE NOTE: Addendum #1, dated 4/16/18, has just been added to the opportunity. This Addendum is in reference to Form 6-S. Please click on View Grant Opportunity to see this material.
Due to a system issue, if an organization is submitting more than one application, you must wait 10 minutes between application submissions. Please give yourself enough time to do so.
The SCIRB wishes to stimulate the growth of SCI research and to accelerate the pace with which basic (preclinical) findings are translated into clinical benefits for spinal cord-injured persons. In addition, SCIRB wishes to fill fundamental gaps in knowledge that are barriers to scientific advances in SCI research. The SCIRB welcomes basic, translational and clinical neurological research applications on topics bearing on its mission. Although the SCIRB has not formally developed a list of research priorities, projects targeting tissue regeneration, repair, or restoration of function through biomedical and bioengineering research are of strongest interest.
The Letter of Intent is not required; but is strongly encouraged. Please see the RFA for further information. Questions are due March 13, 2018 and answers will be posted on or about March 19, 2018.
