The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) anticipates approximately $750,000 in available funding for River Access projects to support projects and plans to improve access for boating, fishing, swimming, and/or enjoyment of nature or wildlife-related recreation or educational interpretation of the estuary on tidal waters, providing universal access and storm resiliency.
