The New York State (NYS) Hazard Abatement Board (HAB) awards grants for programs that provide occupational safety and health training for public entities, private businesses, labor organizations, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and trade associations. Eligible programs must train and educate workers, supervisors and/or businesses and must promote workplace accident and injury prevention.
In addition to Grants Gateway registration, all non-governmental, Not for Profit (NFP) Bidders must be pre-qualified at the time and date that the proposal is due, no later than 12:00 PM NYS Time on July 19, 2021. If you are not pre-qualified at that time and date, your proposal will not be considered. For more information about Grants Gateway and prequalification, please visit the Grants Gateway website https://grantsmanagement.ny.gov/get-prequalified. Grantees may contact the Grants Reform Team at: grantsreform@its.ny.gov. The Grants Reform help desk/hotline can be reached at (518) 474-5595. In keeping with this requirement, the HAB shall not consider for funding any proposal from a non-governmental NFP which has a status other than one of the following at the time and date that the proposal is due:
o Document Vault Prequalified;
o Document Vault Prequalified Open;
o Document Vault Prequalified/In review; or
o Document Vault Open for PQS Edits
